Short Biography
Dina Tsybulsky, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Head of the Biology Education Research Group in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Her research interests include approaches to biology teaching and learning; nature of science and scientific practices; biology teacher education and professional development. Prof. Tsybulsky serves as an Associate Editor for JRST and is currently a member of the editorial boards of JSTE and DISER. She is an active member of several international and national committees, including her role as co-chair of the Outstanding Doctoral Research Award Committee at NARST. Prof. Tsybulsky is also one of the PIs of Taking Citizen Science to School research center, a PI of the Smart BioEd Lab, and a PI of several research projects funded by the EuroTech Universities Alliance, the Israeli Science Foundation and the Israeli Ministry of Education. Her scholarly work is extensively published in peer-reviewed journals, books, book chapters, and conference proceedings with her academic contributions available on her Google Scholar and ORCID profiles.
