Odelia Schrire

Short Biography

Ms. Odelia Schrire holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Science and Technology Education at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on the professional identity and well-being of educational leaders, as well as professional development within professional learning communities. Odelia was awarded the EuroTech Alliance Research Scholarship in 2020 for her collaboration with DTU University in Denmark. She earned her M.A. degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from the University of Haifa in 2019. With a bachelor’s degree in Science Teaching, Odelia has taught science subjects in both formal and informal education settings in Israel, including at the National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space. Her previous roles involved managing educational projects related to environmental issues and representing the community on the local education committee of the Zichron Ya’akov Council in Israel. She currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand and continues her research work.
